Jody Simpson is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Athabasca University and later completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

With over eleven years of experience in Corrections at the Edmonton Remand Centre, Jody brings a strong passion for supporting Public Safety Personnel and First Responders. She understands the unique culture of these careers, using her trauma-focused training to guide clients through adversity and encourage personal growth with individualized care.

Jody relies on a person-centred approach with clients, using humour whenever possible. She uses evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
