Nivedita (Niv) R. Agrawal

Nivedita Agrawal completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a range of clinical settings in Alberta. Niv has worked with diverse and high-acuity populations, including court-involved cases, complex family systems, and clients presenting with trauma-related concerns.
Niv takes an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, incorporating lifestyle factors, relevant medical and developmental history, and broader psychosocial context into her assessment and formulation process. She works to foster emotional safety and collaborative understanding, supporting clients in developing insight, emotional regulation skills, and more adaptive ways of relating to themselves and others. She has a particular interest in working with personality-related presentations, trauma, anxiety, and emotional regulation difficulties.
